Before you send us that file, make the following checks..

Send us artwork

When sending us image files, please consider..

  • Proof-reading: Do check for spelling and grammar errors to avoid printing inaccuracies as we don't proof read (unless specifically requested).
  • Correct Size: The file must be sized appropriately for the intended print dimensions. See our spec sheet.
  • Resolution: Are images at a high enough resolution. Minimum of 300ppi is required for print.
  • Margins: Adequate margins to avoid cutting off important information or borders. See our spec sheet.
  • Bleeds: Most artwork requires at least 2mm bleed beyond the finish size to account for any variations during cutting. Bleeds will vary, please see our spec sheet.
  • Font and Image Inclusion: All fonts and images should be embeded.
  • Contrast and Readability: Ensure good contrast between text and background for readability in print.
  • Colour Mode: Colours should ideally be set to CMYK rather than RGB to match the printing process. See information on print colour matching.

When sending photos, please send us the original file from the camera (not a screenshot, or a copy of the image from social media)

These files are not suitable for printing:  MS Word, MS Publisher, MS Excel, MS Power point, Google Docs and Canva files.  Files which are not print ready, a pre-press fee will likely be charged. Here's some more information about file types

We typically work with high-resolution PDF’s, as we primary work with professional software such as Adobe InDesign and Illustrator; they are universally accepted by all commercial printers.
